The Good Will Hunting Problem Apr 23rd 2012, 16:30 For those of you who have seen the movie Good Will Hunting, here's a question: Does a genius of the highest level (on the level of a Newton or an Einstein) have a moral responsibility to share his or her gifts with humanity? Or, to muddy it even more, do people generally (not just geniuses) have a moral responsibility to develop and use their talents for the good of humanity? Is it moral to waste one's talents by ignoring them, not developing them, or by using them on pursuits that don't improve the human condition in any way?
